Introduction

This is a family tree of the Clingan family who come from Derrylea, Northern Ireland. The Derrylea Clingans are thought to have originated from Galloway and came into the area in the 1700s. They were in the main farmers and this is the case up to the present day. Some of the Clingans were buried in Aghalurcher until the graveyard was closed. The later Clingans have been buried at Sallaghy Church.
